A highlight of any traditional bed and breakfast stay should be a delicious breakfast, and ours is no exception. Imagine tucking in to scrumptious hot, fluffy scrambled eggs and smoked bacon, golden waffles or something more exotic. Freshly squeezed juice, fruit and cereal are also on the menu.
Dine in the beautiful ambience of the formal dining room warmed by the cosy wood heater, or enjoy a more informal breakfast on the front verandah overlooking lush gardens and touched by native birdsong.
When you stay with us you will be greeted by your hosts, Jenny and Ian Godson, with either afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks, wine and cheese, depending on preference and time of arrival.
Make yourself at home in either the main lounge - which has a cosy wood burning fire, television, DVD and CD player and a selection of CDs and DVDs - or relax in the reading room, with a library of books and magazines as well as a guest mini-bar & tea/coffee making facilities.
Magnolia Retreat is not suitable for children or pets. No smoking in the house.
Personalised gift vouchers are available for any occasion. For that special occasion we can arrange to have flowers, chocolates and sparkling wine delivered to your room or for a relaxing massage.
